1.1 How to Lock eMule
To Lock eMule for unwanted Users
- You can lock eMule in the toolbar with the badge "Lock" during the running time

- Enter a password and push "ok"

- Double-click the icon down on the right of the toolbar to reactivate eMule

- Enter the password and choose „ok“

1.2 Trust Center

- Other Clients wich are not safe can never see a complete File in your sharefolder , becuse there will be always some parts hidden.
- Other Clients wich are not safe can never see the real filename , they just see a random string of letters instead of the real filename.
- You are just uploading to safe eMule clients
- You are just connecting to safe eMule clients (not recommended)
- You don’t send your filelist to eDonkey-Server
- You can use AES 256 Bit encryption for your up- and downloads as well as for the communication between eMule Clients. It is possible to force the encryption for your upload.
- You can scan complete files with your Antivirus Software. Just choose your installed Antivirus Software. (Attention: The Antivirus Software should be installed in the default directory , otherwise this feature may not work)

2.1 Operation of the Highspeed Credit System
For you upload you recieve Highspeed Credits. The more you upload the more Highspeed Credits you’ll get.
This Highspeed Credits you can use when required to speed up your Downloads.
2.2 Fine Adjustment of the Highspeed Credit System

- The more Highspeed Credits you use, the faster your download is – but more expensive too. You can choose as global setting between light mode (few cheap credits), normal mode (recommended) and brutal mode (many expensive credits).
- You can choose the Highspeed Credit Mode per File.
- Highspeed Credits can be set automaticly , semi-automaticly and manually.
